Stewardship Meditations 2010
Last year’s Stewardship Campaign invited us all to consider our commitment to Church of the Servant after reflecting on scripture readings and personal meditations offered by members of our church family. The 2009 campaign was a great success, in part because it generated significant increases in the number of pledges and total giving. Just as importantly, the Meditations provided an opportunity for us to deepen our understanding and appreciation of our faith and community.
As we begin our 2010 campaign, the stewardship committee again asks you to read, pray and reflect on the personal meditations. The perspectives offered by this year’s writers represent another opportunity to strengthen your connection to Christ, to one another, and to Church of the Servant. We also urge you to consider how your prayers, your skills, your time, and your financial support enable Church of the Servant to serve our community’s needs for spiritual guidance, material support and fellowship.
Please return your completed pledge card by October 31st to one of the services, mail it to the Church, or communicate your pledge directly to the treasurer by email (gnautry@bellsouth.net). Pledges are made on an annual basis, so please ensure the treasurer is aware you have renewed your pledge for the coming year. If you desire more information or wish to discuss stewardship at Church of the Servant, please contact any member of the Stewardship Committee.
