March 19: Dr. Atul Gawande is a highly regarded physician and speaker
who deals with the complex and multi-layered concerns that are ever present as
we approach the end of our mortality. Using video clips of Gawande’s work, we
will discuss his insights and ponder questions like: What matters most to us at
that time? What are our goals as we consider care and treatment options? How do
we want to communicate to our family and others? This conversation will be
facilitated by Phil Stine.
