WELCOME TO THE COS NURSERY

We are glad you are here at Church of the Servant

Young children are welcome at all of our services,

and we even have a hands-on space and rocking chairs in the sanctuary.

For those who would like to access nursery care for their little ones during the service

and Adult Spiritual Life Formation programming, we offer nursery services from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 pm.

COS Nursery is available for children from birth to age 5. Children are welcome to attend the worship services. The Hands-on Space is available in the sanctuary during services to enhance the worship experience for those who need it.

Nursery play will happen both inside and outside on our enclosed, gated playground. Please dress your child appropriately for a variety of indoor and outdoor play so they can enjoy both.

Please sign your child in when you arrive. And before you do so, don’t forget to change your baby’s diaper or have your child visit the bathroom! Keep the pager close to you so you can be contacted if needed.

We expect to be able to find parent/caregivers on the COS campus to help as needed. Tending to your child’s basic needs will be our pleasure. But for some things – like toileting and bigger bumps – we will need your help to keep kids happy and safe.

When it is time for pick-up, please inform a Nursery Caregiver so they can sign you out. Sometimes the group is on the playground when you want to sign out. Please communicate with an official Nursery Caregiver before walking off with your child.

Please keep sick children home and all medications out of the nursery. Medication for healthy children should be kept with you as our staff is not authorized to handle medication.

Please leave personal toys either in the car or at home. This will ensure that all toys are age appropriate for all kids in the nursery, and that personal toys are kept safe and clean.

Please label any extra clothing, bags or water bottles that you leave in the nursery. We want to be sure they make it back to you and this will help us quite a bit!

Questions or concerns? Please speak with your Nursery Caregiver or the Nursery Coordinator Diane Snow at dianereidsnow@gmail.com.

THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE TODAY!
